We call each prompt 8 times against both models and compare the difference between models with the difference each model shows against itself. You are alerted when the first clearly exceeds the second, or when something categorical changes — JSON stops parsing, a refusal appears, the status class changes. A prompt that is simply creative and varies a lot will not trigger an alert.
